Producing theater for children by children, East Valley Children’s Theatre provides professional quality entertainment the entire family will enjoy. Season shows include fairy tales with a twist, original plays and musicals, and productions based on classic children’s stories. EVCT provides youth age 8-18 opportunities to experience theatre arts through performance, production, technical experience, playwriting and workshops. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

This dramatization of C.S.Lewis’s classic story, set in the land of Narnia, recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan ,the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never to be forgotten Narnia. This story of love, courage and giving is a great way to spend time together with your family.

Twins, Cody and Caitlyn, heirs to the throne in Landian, set out to look for the legendary well-spring of life in hopes of finding a cure for their grandmother’s illness. They follow the path of the Golden Butterfly through the mountains, deserts and clouds finally ending in the land of the Windians. With the help of Art, a Windian prince and their Cat, Friskas, the twins not only find the cure they seek but also reunite an ancient kingdom and find peace for their worlds. This truly entertaining story of courage and determination will delight audiences of all ages.
The Little Mermaid

Anemone, an adventurous little mermaid, leaves her undersea realm for a sixteenth birthday excursion to the surface. She hopes to find the prince of her dreams. But a jealous Sea-Witch threatens Anemone, and magically conjures up a storm which sinks the ship carrying her prince. Anemone dives into the waves to save him, but not before she has been tricked into trading her voice to the Sea-Witch. As the prince recovers from his ordeal, he believes Georgina, who discovered him on the rocks, saved him. Patience, love and friendship solve this delightful romantic puzzle ending in a happily ever after fairy tale ending.
